Jimmewari - No Excuses, Only Responsibility

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Jimmewari and how you can contribute to building a better Nepal

1 What is Jimmewari?

Jimmewari.com is a platform where citizens take responsibility for their country. You don't need money or a degree. Giving just 10 minutes a day for Nepal is enough to make a difference.

2 Is this political or supported by any organization?

No. There is no political connection or hidden agenda. This is a mission to make Nepal safer, more just, and more beautiful through citizen responsibility.

3 How can I join Jimmewari? Do I need qualifications?

No qualification is required. If you know what is right and wrong, you qualify. You can contribute time, knowledge, skills, or any resource you have.

4 When will Jimmewari fully launch?

Development is almost completed on our local server. We are now gathering responsible citizens. Once we reach a basic number, the full platform will open.

5 What are the main features of Jimmewari?

The platform includes:

  • Travel safety information
  • Emergency help requests
  • Missing person alerts
  • Blood donation coordination
  • Abuse and rape risk reports
  • Suicide prevention assistance
6 How are expenses managed?

Currently, all costs are covered personally. In the future, Google Ads will be used to maintain operating expenses.

7 Can I become a member without donating money?

Yes. Just 10 minutes of your time every day is enough to be a Jimmewari citizen.

8 Why is email verification required?

To block fake accounts and ensure that only real, responsible users join the platform.

9 Is my data safe here?

Your data is safe if your activity on the platform is positive and constructive. If a user engages in harmful behavior, hateful speech, disrespectful content, or posts adult material, relevant information may be shared with Nepal Police.

Signature Consent: Users can upload a signature in their profile when supporting a case in the "exposed truth" section. This signature indicates that you are aware of the case and support bringing it to the attention of authorities. With your consent, the case can then be sent to the appropriate government bodies to encourage action.

Basic information like your email and responsibility selection is stored securely, and sensitive personal data is never collected unnecessarily.

10 What does "10 minutes for the nation" mean?

If just 10% of Nepal's population gives 10 minutes daily, that becomes 30 million minutes. This equals 57 years of work completed every day.

11 How does Jimmewari help reduce crime?

Between 2018–2025 Nepal recorded over 12,000 rape cases and 14,000 murders. Jimmewari forms a responsive network of citizens to prevent crime and assist victims fast.

12 How does the travel safety feature work?

You can check if any road or air route has risks, issues, or safety concerns before traveling.

13 What can be posted in the emergency help section?

You can request help for blood, missing persons, abuse, rape risks, and suicidal thoughts. Responsible users will assist.

14 Are reported cases public?

Yes, but only under certain circumstances. If you post an emergency help request, it will be visible for a limited time to enrolled contributors who can assist you.

If your post exposes a truth that requires urgent public attention, the case will be made partially public—showing the case number, type, and description—so that others can add evidence or "raise their voice." All contributions from the public help generate pressure on authorities or courts to address the issue.

Your personal information remains private while the case gains visibility to mobilize support and action.

15 Does Jimmewari work with the government?

Jimmewari does not work directly with the government. However, if a person's behavior is harmful, involves criminal activity, or is otherwise inappropriate, and if Nepal Police requests relevant information, we may share necessary data responsibly.

Our platform's goal is to bring positive change to Nepal peacefully, not to promote violence or support any political party. We request all politicians to refrain from interfering in the platform's activities.

16 Can I join from outside Nepal?

Yes. Nepalis living abroad can also give their time, knowledge, or support.

17 Can I share my skills and expertise?

Yes. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, cybersecurity experts, technicians—everyone's knowledge can help Nepal.

18 Will Jimmewari ever collect funds?

So far, we have not collected any funds, and we will not ask for them. If responsible and supportive users feel that Jimmewari should continue running sustainably, we may accept voluntary contributions to cover server costs, development, and other operational expenses.

If no contributions are made, we may need to downgrade to a more limited hosting plan, but we will do our best to keep the platform running smoothly. The focus remains on contribution and responsibility, not money.

19 Does it cost money to be a member?

No. There is no membership fee. Responsibility requires only commitment.
